The Coffee County Central High School (CCCHS) Student of the Week is sophomore Juliette Gonzalez Facundo. Juliette, daughter of Eulogio Gonzalez and Yesenia Facundo, maintains an A average and is a diligent worker. Her honors English teacher, Mrs. Katie Duke, says that Juliette never shies away from the rigor in her courses and walks into class with a smile on her face each day. Juliette spends most of the summer and fall seasons as the CCCHS football manager. She washes uniforms, cleans the equipment room, and provides water for the players and coaches. Juliette enjoys being on the sidelines on Friday nights in the fall.
Not only is Juliette hard-working and involved in school, she has a plan for her future. Juliette will spend part of the summer at Haslam College of Business in Knoxville, TN at a business program for high school students. Juliette then plans to attend college at this same school; she would like to earn a PhD in entrepreneurship. Juliette would like pursue a career in real-estate investing, and she is already reading a number of books on the subject. In her spare time, Juliette enjoys cooking out with her family. Mrs. Duke says, “This young lady is one in a million.” We at CCCHS are certain that Juliette has a bright future!
