Although there are no confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in Coffee County, the number of cases in Tennessee continues to rise. The Tennessee Department of Health released information on the latest confirmed cases and their locations.

With no confirmed cases in Coffee County, Coffee County Schools , Manchester City, Schools, and Tullahoma City Schools released a statement last week that they intend to continue classes as usual, but are working closely with the Tennessee Department of Education and the Tennessee Department of Health to monitor the status of COVID-19. Should the status change, they will alert parents in the community via local media, social media, and other messaging platforms within the school systems. While schools remain open, they are remaining proactive by cancelling large group events, and rescheduling events such as tryouts.
