Walmart in Manchester has been undergoing quite a large renovation, even throughout the coronavirus outbreak, and is now launching the grocery pickup program. This Friday, April 3rd, you will be able to shop for your groceries online, and pick them up at the Manchester location on Hillsboro Blvd. Pickup will be fully running by April 3rd, and you can even shop now and schedule a pick up time for that day.
You can shop at https://grocery.walmart.com/ or use the Walmart app to shop for groceries such as food, toiletries, and almost any other item that is available in the store. This launch comes at a time when social distancing is key, and staying out of grocery stores is one more way you can limit social contact.
Once you select your groceries, and add it to your cart, you will schedule a pick up time, usually at least 24 hours later. Once your order is ready, Walmart will notify you either by email or on the Walmart app. When your order is ready, you will check in and let them know you are on the way to the store. Once you arrive, you will pick a parking spot, if you have the Walmart app, to let the associates know you are there. The associate will confirm your order, and load your groceries in your car for you, which helps to limit the spread of germs and person to person contact.
