Obituary: Marvin “Bubba” Timothy Swoape

Marvin “Bubba” Timothy Swoape of Manchester passed this life on Friday, April 17, 2020 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital at the age of 54. Graveside services are scheduled for 2 PM Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at Adam Duncan Cemetery.

Mr. Swoape was a native of Coffee County. He enjoyed spending time with his son and grandchildren, writing poetry and working on cars. He was also a talented artist

He was preceded in death by son, Bryan Swoape and step-father, Wilford “Tom” Thomas Eley.

Mr. Swoape is survived by his mother, Bessie Stacy (Bud) of Manchester; son, Timothy Adam Swoape of McMinnville; sisters, Tammy Ferrell (Heath) of Lynchburg, LeAnn Marshall of Winchester and Polly “P J” Blair of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Taygan, Taysha and Trinity Swoape and life long friend, Lisa Bryan Holder (Sean) of McMinnville.
