Manchester City Schools announce passing of coach and teacher Doug Roorda.

Manchester City Schools has announced the passing of dedicated coach and teacher Mr. Doug Roorda of Westwood Middle school in a statement below.

“It is with sad and heavy hearts that we at Westwood Middle School and Manchester City Schools share news that Mr. Doug Roorda passed away in the last 24 hours. Although those are the only details we have at this time, we send our condolences to all of Mr. Roorda’s family, friends and former students. Mr. Roorda was a dedicated coach and teacher, with over 30 years of service to our community. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
