The Tennessee Department of Health has published today’s COVID-19 statistics for the state. As of May 26th, 2020, Tennessee has reported 20,965 confirmed positive cases across the state thus far, including 343 deaths, 1,609 hospitalizations and 13,344 recovered.
Coffee County has reported a total of 66 confirmed positive cases so far, and 42 recoveries, leaving 24 known active cases in the county. For more detailed information regarding COVID-19 statistics visit www.tn.gov/health/cedep/ncov.html.
Laboratory reports of positive cases are reported to metro and local health departments as soon as results are available. State numbers are updated at 2 p.m. CDT daily. There may be a lag in the reporting of cumulative numbers at the state level.
