Tullahoma Police: Fatal Shooting in Tullahoma, Shooter Charged with 1st Degree Murder

“Last night at approximately 8:12 PM, Tullahoma Police Officers were dispatched to the Ada Ferrell Apartment complex after 911 received multiple calls regarding some people shooting guns in the apartment complex. Upon arriving, officers immediately identified a victim in the parking lot who had been shot and immediately began rendering aid.Other officers noticed a white male in the vicinity who was armed and immediately detained him.
The subject that was detained has been identified as a male named Norman Paul Adams Jr., who is 62 years old. Officers determined that through initial observations and statements from those on the scene that he was responsible for shooting the victim. While continuing to investigate the situation, the TPD was notified that the victim died from his wounds.
Norman Paul Adams Jr. is being charged with 1st Degree Murder. The TPD is also investigating an additional altercation that occurred at the apartment complex in which a female was injured. The investigation is still ongoing, and the TPD wants to thank the Coffee County Sheriff’s Department for their assistance.”
