Temperature Checks Before Riding the Bus: Coffee County Schools Transportation Guidelines.

Coffee County Schools have released the COVID-19 Transportion Guidelines, which can be found below, or at www.coffeecountyschools.com at the “Coffee County Schools COVID-19 Response” link.

1. Families need to check their child’s temperature before sending them to school.  Temperatures at or above 100.4 are considered elevated, and students need to remain at home.  

2. Buses will be disinfected at least twice each day after the morning and evening run.

3. Windows will remain lowered in transit to allow additional air flow.

4. Temperatures will be taken when students enter the bus. 

5. Hand sanitizer will be available and encouraged.

6. The use of masks on the bus is strongly encouraged.

7. Family units will be asked to sit together to maximize spacing between others.
