Coffee County Schools is announcing the closure of North Coffee Elementary for the remainder of this week, August 5 through August 7. The same decision process that led to the closure of Coffee County Middle School resulted in this closure as the district attempts to fulfill the job of educating our students while maintaining their safety.
The staff of North Coffee, just like the staff at Coffee County Middle School, will be working to prepare for the distribution of materials. Parents should receive additional information on Wednesday, August 5. More information will be available by Friday, August 7, at both schools. These decisions are made as new information becomes available on an hourly basis. All Coffee County Schools other than Coffee County Middle School and North Coffee Elementary should be in session on August 5 on regular hours.
