Slam Dunk! Tullahoma Jr. NBA League Hit the Courts This Season.
Local December 18, 2019 Daniel Prince
Each year, Tullahoma Parks and Recreation hosts a Junior NBA league, a partnership program of the NBA. The league is available to any youth in grades K-5, although some start before even reaching kindergarten, with the division split three ways (K-1, 2nd-3rd, 4th-5th).
This year the league has over 100 players and over 14 different teams. What makes this league special is the fact that the players wear NBA replica jerseys that look almost identical to NBA jerseys. The league plays at C.D. Stamps where TSSAA officials are used to work each game.
The Tullahoma Junior NBA League’s season began on December 7th and is set to conclude on February 15th, 2020.
