City of Manchester to Hold Public Workshop to Discuss Multimodal Access Grant

The City of Manchester will be hosting a public workshop on Thursday, October 29th at 1:00 p.m. to discuss the City applying for a $1,000,000 Multimodal Access Grant. The City is looking to possibly use the grant funding to do the following:

• Install new sidewalks, crosswalks, and curb ramps on both sides of Highway 41 from where the sidewalk ends currently in the Post Office/Wall St. area to the Walmart driveway signal.
• Install bike lanes along both sides of Hwy 41 from Hwy 55 to the southern city limits.
• Install a sidewalk from Hwy 41 to the Conference Center along Hospitality Blvd.

The workshop will be an open discussion. Any comments/concerns on regarding this matter are welcomed by the City.
