School will be different in many aspects this year, even down to arrival procedures. This afternoon, Coffee County Central High School has announced the measures the will be taking for the arrival process each day. “We are looking forward to the start of the year, and we hope you are as well. Some of our arrival procedures will change this year as we attempt to social distance and keep everyone safe,” school officials state.
Coffee County Central High School Arrival Procedure
The school will not be open until 7:00 AM each day.
If you arrive between 7:00 and 7:20, you must enter through the secure entrance near the main office.
If you arrive after 7:20, you may enter through the main doors, the music hall doors, or the bus loading doors depending on how you arrive to school.
Only bus riders are allowed to enter through the bus loading doors. Bus riders will have their temperature checked before getting on the bus.
If you are a driver or a car rider, you will enter through the music hall entrance or the secure entrance near the main office and have your temperature checked.
It would be beneficial if all students checked their temperature before leaving for school. Upon arrival, anyone whose temperature is 100.4 or higher will be sent home.
