COVID-19 in Coffee County: Aug. 9, 2020, Coffee Co. Surpasses 500 Cases.

Coffee County has surpassed 500 positive cases today. As reported by the state, the current case count as of August 9th is 545 confirmed positive cases. 321 of those cases are considered known, active cases, while 221 have been reported as recovered. 9,541 tests administered in the county have had negative results, as well as 3 total COVID-19 related deaths as reported by the department of health.
The total COVID-19 case count for Tennessee is now 120,585 as of Aug. 8, 2020 including 1,215 deaths, 5,262 hospitalizations and 80,340 recovered. For additional data, go to www.tn.gov/health/cedep/ncov.html.
