The Tennessee Department of Health reports a total of 836 positive cases of COVID-19 as of September 8th, 2020. Currently, 721 cases are considered to be recovered or “inactive” according to the new method of reporting by the state labs. There are 108 known active cases as of today, as well as 7 COVID-19 related deaths, as reported by the state. 14,481 tests administered in the county, are reported as having negative results.

The total COVID-19 case count for Tennessee is 165,754 as of September 8, 2020 including 1,896 deaths, 844 current hospitalizations and 148,165 inactive/recovered.
