Whether you are taking the entire family, or just a date, Rock City’s Enchanted Garden of Lights is the perfect spot for some Christmas magic this season.
Located on top of Lookout Mountain in Chattanooga, this glittery display of lights is only about an hour’s drive away, leaving plenty of time to grab the family dinner before sunset, when the sparkling light show begins.
The magic runs from November 22nd to January 4th, and offers VIP admission for dinner with Santa, which gets you a small gift, cookie decorating, and of course the chance to visit with Santa! You can choose to forgo the VIP option and still be dazzled by the entire display.
Not only will you enjoy seeing your family smile, you will feel awesome knowing that a portion of each ticket sold goes to benefit local families at the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). From hot cocoa, to a sparkling winter wonderland of lights, you can’t go wrong adding this event to your family holiday traditions.
Not only will you have a blast hiking through the magic, or eating snacks, its also a fanastic opportunity to take great Christmas photos of your family, as they do allow cameras in.
Tip for those with little ones: while there are less strenuous paths, it isn’t perfectly stroller friendly in every area, so prepare accordingly!
