Manchester City Schools have notified the community that an employee working for the Manchester City School District has tested positive for COVID-19.

MCS states that students who attended registration day on August 3rd would not be considered to have been “in close contact” according to the current guidelines.

MCS is currently working with a COVID-19 liaison and the health department to identify, trace, and quarantine anyone who may have been in contact with the positive employee, or possibly exposed.

Manchester City Schools are continuing to monitor the situation, and will be making changes as necessary. Any changes to scheduling have not been made as of yet, but MCS states they will notify families.
