Peaceful “We Will Breathe” March to Delay Traffic Saturday, June 13 Use Caution on Jackson St, Seek Alternative Routes

The City of Tullahoma Police Department (TPD) has been working with organizers of the “We Will Breathe” March scheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 5:00 pm.
This will be a peaceful march organized by lifelong residents and the City Administration to bring attention to the death of George Floyd.
The event will start and end at CD Stamps Community center from 4-6 pm. Starting at 5:00 pm, a large group will march north from CD Stamps to City Hall and back to CD Stamps along Jackson Street. TPD and Tullahoma Fire Department (TFD) will be escorting the march, and motorist are advised to seek an alternative route as traffic will be delayed starting at 5:00 pm. Once leaving City Hall at approximately 5:45 pm, the group with return south along Jackson Street.
Parking at CD Stamps will be limited, and overflow parking will be located at the Jefferson Street Park parking lot and in the park along West Cook street.
TPD has been working with the organizers and have planned for a peaceful community event like the annual MLK March.
