The first year for this sweet shop’s storefront has been one packed with sugar, cream cheese, and a whole lot of love. Although owner Lindsey Morgan has been churning out sweet treats for years, The Cheescakery officially opened its doors on November 2, 2018.
In its first year, Lindsey has managed to serve up treats daily to the public, while also providing cakes for weddings and local events, and even cheesecake tastings. A successful first year to say the least, of course they had every reason to celebrate their birthday in style! The house was packed with customers returning for great deals on all of their favorites, offering their congratulations to what seems to be a wonderful year.
From birthday celebrations, to charity events, the bakery has hosted a multitude of events in their space. In the past year, they have held two cheesecake tastings, a summer cooking camp for kids, participated in the Taste of Tullahoma event, sponsored events for the Hands on Science Center and the Tullahoma Chamber of Commerce, and a “Girls’ Night Out” event in conjunction with the Downtown Avenues. It has no doubt been a busy year for the bakery, but they handle it in stride and continue to succeed and grow.
Aside from the usual flavors, The Cheescakery offers custom ordering, a chance to order any flavor cheesecake you could possibly think of. Alas, plain cheesecake won’t be the only thing you find here. They offer sweet treats such as brownies, cheesecake banana bread, custom cheesecake/cake layer cakes, layered wedding cheesecakes, and more. The Cheesecakery has even begun to serve light brunches and lunches including a delicious chicken salad plate, and offer $5 slices every single Friday.
Coffee County News congratulates Lindsey and The Cheesecakery on its first year!
