The Tullahoma Art Center has announced a new “public benefit program” in collaboration with Skills Development Center. The new program has established a weekly art program for individuals within the Skills program. According to TAC, “The program allows individuals to be in the community while participating in art programs at the Tullahoma Art Center.”
“Through the generous contributions of program sponsors, we can offer this program free-of-charge to the individuals of Skills Development Services as public benefit. TAC is excited to provide such an outstanding value to our community in the highest traditions of the state of Tennessee. We take pride in maintaining our positions within the community through acts of volunteerism and charity while sustaining the arts.”
Skills Development Center is a “non-profit agency serving individuals who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.” Skills Development Services, Inc. is a community based agency which provides services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. The primary focus of the agency is to support people to make choices, lead meaningful lives, and to be participating, working members in their communities.
