Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, self-isolation, and safer-at-home orders, birthdays are looking a bit different than usual. Birthdays are meant to be special, and all of us here at Coffee County News want our community members to feel special on their birthday during this uncertain time. Please join us in celebrating the members of our community, by wishing these individuals a happy birthday! Being stuck at home doesn’t mean we can’t stay connected. Here at Coffee County News, we love our community, and will always strive to maintain a connection for our citizens! Birthday announcements will continue after April 30th. Safer-at-Home orders are set to end May 1st, but social distancing measures and restrictions continue to be in place. CCN wishes to continue to share birthdays every day! If you would like to submit a birthday to share please read the information below.
Birthday Announcement Guidelines
CCN will be doing birthday announcements that will be posted daily at 5 p.m. To submit a birthday announcement with us, please follow the guidelines here:
- Contact our media team via our Facebook messenger linked here. Facebook Comments do not qualify for birthday announcements, as there can be very many, and messaging us gives you a chance to share more information with us directly.
- You must submit a birthday announcement request by 3:00 p.m the date of the individuals birthday.
- You may send the individuals name, birthdate, a photo, or any other information or special message you would like to share.
- If you do not send in a photo, or do not wish to, the individuals birthday announcement will be listed in the “non-pictured birthday announcements’ section of the birthday announcement article.
- If you do wish to send a photo, please be sure it is a clear, appropriate photo of the individual.
We have had so many birthday announcements in the month of April, and we are excited to continue our support for our individual members of our community!
