The website describes The Volunteer State as, “That classic Southern charm is in full swing in Tennessee, where locals have a buzzing attitude and an eagerness to show off their city to out-of-towners. Add in the lively music scene and it’s clear why it’s one of the friendliest states in America.”

The top ranking spot goes to Minnesota, while New York holds number 50. Between our southern hospitality and beautiful scenery its easy to see why our beloved state ranked so high up on the list! Call us partial, but we are proud to be Tennesseans.
